Toronto, CANADA; June 4, 2020 – The Blockchain Research Institute ™ (BRI) welcomes the OOC Oil and Gas Blockchain Consortium, our latest Affiliate Member. As a BRI Affiliate Member, Consortium staff, board and technical committees will receive access to the research projects conducted by the BRI.
The OOC Oil & Gas Blockchain Consortium includes 10 oil and gas member companies, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Equinor, ExxonMobil, Hess, Marathon, Noble Energy, Pioneer Natural Resources, Repsol and Shell, that have partnered to study and define blockchain use cases across the industry value chain to solve common pain points. This growing network of oil and gas companies is leveraging blockchain technology to maximize opportunities to reduce costs, improve cycle times, and eliminate disputes, increasing trust within the ecosystem of any given industry process.
